An Italian Fairytale: Nellie & Blake’s Dream Wedding at Torre Alfina

The first time, it was Blake who reached out to me. He had been introduced by a couple of dear friends—former clients of mine who were planning their wedding in Tuscany. ( see B & M’s story ) They had left him with no doubt:
“If you’re getting married in Italy, she’s your wedding planner.”

Everything seemed simple—until I met Nellie.
A whirlwind of energy, passion, and dreams. She wanted her wedding to be a fairytale in every possible way. The venues she had shortlisted were all stunning, with impressive budgets, but as with any real project, a few compromises were inevitable. Yet there were some things she simply wouldn’t give up: the wow effect, the charm of Italian history, romance, and a full celebration in every sense of the word and last but not least  the  high quality of the food because Blake is an esteemed chef of Italian cuisine in NY.

So the search became more focused, more intentional.
And then, the surprise: Torre Alfina.
A neo-Gothic castle also known as the “Snow White Castle”. A magical, timeless place—perfect for turning dreams into reality.

We envisioned:

• A ceremony in the Italian garden
• A cocktail hour and later the party in the atmospheric inner courtyard
• A dinner in the frescoed 17th-century gallery

Another central element: the flowers.
We wanted to go beyond quantity and variety, and play with volume. Thanks to Roberto’s elegant floral arrangements and Gaia’s oversized blooms, the creative vision began to take form—stunning, theatrical, and absolutely unforgettable.
