Intimate Italian wedding in Umbria
Mary & Marco spent two days immersed in the true flavor of old Italy.
They contacted me about 10 months before the scheduled wedding date. Mary had already chosen the location, stumbled upon it through her work closely connected with the world of Italian wine. She fell in love with it instantly, and Marco, with his Sicilian heritage, immediately saw how their entire event would revolve around the pursuit of authentic Italy. A small village all to themselves, in the heart of Umbria, with a breathtaking view for the ceremony moment. Every detail was carefully considered to evoke memories of a somewhat vintage Italy. There was the Fiat 500 to arrive at the dinner area driven by the groom, the Vespa, and the gelato cart reminiscent of those found in the corners of the village square once upon a time. There was a cheesemaker with freshly made mozzarella and ricotta, a good cigar after dinner. Mary loves flowers, and they were the main element in the decoration, from the bride’s dress itself to the flowers for the bride and bridesmaids, then continuing to adorn the ceremony area and dinner setting. The flowers were meant to be vibrant but not loud, fresh and delicate at the same time. It was two days filled with joy and freshness. Their story is beautiful and romantic, and it was a real pleasure to plan, organize, and experience with them this beautiful wedding.
